2008 Fall Contest is less that 24 hours away

Can you believe it? It is almost that time again – almost time for our next contest! The contest masters have been hard at work, and as we speak are putting the finishing touches on this season’s challenge.

So, right this minute, go into your calendar and schedule to check back tomorrow after noon Eastern time, to find out what’s in store….

See you all then!

    The concept of user user generated code as the ‘opposing’ ant is VERY COOL! This should make for some very interesting dynamics to the contest. Good luck everyone!

    PS: You left some stuff in the rules page that says “REMOVE BEFORE GOING LIVE”

  2. Alan Chalker replied on :

    You also might want to reset the entry listing page. Looks like there are some test entries from before going live in there.

  3. Alan Chalker replied on :

    Yea!!! There is a CAPTCHA on the entry page.. no more queue spamming.

    Boooo!! It doesn’t seem to be working right now. I can’t submit a entry since it says the words I’m typing aren’t correct.

    Maybe that means you are an AI. How do you know you’re not? But then I am one too because it’s not working for me either. ;-)

  5. Matthew replied on :

    Alan, I cleaned up the rules and the entries. Thanks. Hopefully I can figure out why the CAPTCHA was misbehaving and add it back.

Wrap code fragments inside <pre> tags, like this:

<pre class="code">
a = magic(3);
sum(a)
</pre>

If you have a "<" character in your code, either follow it with a space or replace it with "&lt;" (including the semicolon).
