Top 5 2011 Resolutions

In what’s become a yearly tradition, here are my New Year’s resolutions for this blog:

  1. Get a new picture! Ken and I had fun getting the caricature done, but it’s three years later and I totally have a new hairstyle.
  2. Formalize guest contributors. I hope to keep up the level of guest posts this year, and if once again I get a regular team of contributors, I want to share the credit for this blog with them.
  3. Talk more about MATLAB Mobile. Even though I’ve been working on this project for months, we’ve only had a few posts on our mobile product.
  4. Share some more cool examples on the File Exchange. I still get to come up with cool code examples in my day job, but so far I’ve only shared a meager three.
  5. And of course, as always, continue to share cool MATLAB desktop tricks, and highlight new and exciting features of MATLABs R2011a and R2011b. And if I have time, link those posts back to comments from previous posts where people have asked for certain features.

Wrap code fragments inside <pre> tags, like this:

<pre class="code">
a = magic(3);
sum(a)
</pre>

If you have a "<" character in your code, either follow it with a space or replace it with "&lt;" (including the semicolon).
