Khan—I don't completely understand your question. Please post a bit of code and then describe say how the result didn't match your need or expectation.

Hi Steve
This is slightly different question, and may be lame one,
Like you posted above, I am trying to visualize an image after logical indexing, by converting from (rgb unit8) into logical array, imshow did not show the image,it is because of rgb, but shows if i change that to rgb2gray and doing logical indexing.
Thanks

I started using Matlab in 1997 with version 5.* during my Master's thesis. Emacs was my "desktop environment". I just went to the old project dir to check:
"grep find *m | wc -l" gives 69
Apparently I didn't know about logical indexing :-)

I started using PC-Matlab 2.0 in 1987, working on the use of the Sylvester Expansion Theorem to calculate eigenvalues analytically for my thesis.

Omid—Yes, it's an 8.3 artifact. MATLAB 3.13 is running on my WinXP computer under the Win16 compatibility system, including automatic 8.3 path/file renaming.

Steve, You're so lucky to have (access to) them all! BTW in the first screenshot, the path in the title bar has MATLAB~1.1 but you mention it's from 3.13. Do these refer to the same thing? (Has some 8.3 naming rule affected the path?)

Omid—I found it surprisingly fun to go run all those old MATLAB versions.
