Contest: Final wrap up

Well, it was a great contest this season. I was very happy to see that each King of the Hill tended to get arguably better than the prior. I wanted to find out how much better, so I used the actual test suite and the eight different Kings of the Hill to set up 512 runs of the contest. The results are found here. Click on any pairing to see the final state of the board.

Congratulations to all of the Kings

    Thanks for this commentary. Some of these boards look unfamiliar. Are there plans to release the actual testsuite for this contest, as has been done in the past?

    This was the test suite. Some of the boards were very familiar if not exactly the same (surprise!)

    The actual test suite has been placed here:

    Thanks for playing.

Wrap code fragments inside <pre> tags, like this:

<pre class="code">
a = magic(3);
sum(a)
</pre>

If you have a "<" character in your code, either follow it with a space or replace it with "&lt;" (including the semicolon).
