Understanding the display method for a cell

A MATLAB user wanted to get rid of the quote marks from a string in a cell array. This was not needed because they only appeared there due to the display method for a cell.

    It might be worthwhile to mention the CELLDISP function, which also does not show the quotes.

Wrap code fragments inside <pre> tags, like this:

<pre class="code">
a = magic(3);
sum(a)
</pre>

If you have a "<" character in your code, either follow it with a space or replace it with "&lt;" (including the semicolon).
