It’s not quite past prime upgrade season, so if you’re still using MATLAB R2011b, it’s not too late to upgrade. You can easily update your MATLAB (assuming your account has a valid maintenance agreement) with a simple menu action from MATLAB. From the top menus, go to Help -> Check for Updates.

From there, MATLAB will connect to the internet and scan your computer to determine what updates are available for your installed products.

If you’re ready to upgrade, just click the “Download Products at MathWorks.com”, and you’ll be brought to our website with instructions on how to get those products onto your hard drive.
