{"id":439,"date":"2011-01-24T14:33:51","date_gmt":"2011-01-24T19:33:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.mathworks.com\/desktop\/2011\/01\/24\/introducing-matlab-answers\/"},"modified":"2020-02-05T11:14:05","modified_gmt":"2020-02-05T16:14:05","slug":"introducing-matlab-answers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.mathworks.com\/community\/2011\/01\/24\/introducing-matlab-answers\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing MATLAB Answers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>This week I&#8217;d like to introduce guest poster Garth Mitchell from our product marketing team to tell you about our latest community product, MATLAB Answers.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We are excited to announce the recent launch of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathworks.com\/matlabcentral\/answers\/\">MATLAB Answers<\/a>, which is a collaborative environment designed to allow you to get the best answers to your programming questions about MathWorks products.  <\/p>\n<p>MATLAB Answers makes it easy to ask and answer questions because it provides you with the ability to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the best answers to your questions<\/li>\n<li>Vote up the best answers <\/li>\n<li>Gain reputation by contributing questions and answers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since this is the first release more features will be added later, but the application is currently robust enough to handle your Q&#038;A needs. That being said, go ahead and try out this new application and let us know what you think.<\/p>\n<p><em>Editor&#8217;s note: I&#8217;ve already &#8220;constructively used&#8221; quite a bit of time on the site. It&#8217;s a lot of fun, but right now a bit heavy on MathWorks employees answering questions. I recommend that you try both asking and answering a question.
