MATLAB R2011a

There's a new release of MATLAB, R2011a. By now, some of you have probably started to use it. There have been a couple of blogs about some of the new features:

A MATLAB improvement of particular note:

  • Improved performance for many linear algebra functions in MATLAB

And Optimization Toolbox has a notable new feature:

  • Large-scale interior-point solver for quadratic programming
