There is a nice modification of which to be found in <a title=\"https:\/\/www.mathworks.com\/matlabcentral\/fileexchange\/loadFile.do?objectId=9076&amp;objectType=file (link no longer works)\">whichx<\/a>. Whichx accepts wildcards, so I can do the following:<\/p>\n<p>&gt;&gt; whichx fminsearch*<\/p>\n<p>run \/Users\/johnderrico\/Documents\/Files\/work in progress\/fminsearchbnd2.m<br \/>\nrun \/Users\/johnderrico\/Documents\/Files\/work in progress\/fminsearchbndx.m<br \/>\nrun \/Users\/johnderrico\/Desktop\/My_FEX\/fminsearchbnd.m<br \/>\nrun \/Users\/johnderrico\/Desktop\/My_FEX\/opt_reg_tips\/fminsearchbnd.m<br \/>\nrun \/Applications\/MATLAB701\/toolbox\/matlab\/funfun\/fminsearch.m<\/p>\n<p>You will find links in your command window, allowing you to run or edit any of<br \/>\nthe functions it finds with no more than a mouse click. Try whichx.
