You know, the people that would rather type <code>&gt;&gt;help plot<\/code> instead of <code>&gt;&gt;doc plot<\/code> to get information on the plot command. Those of us that do this, know that the <code>&gt;&gt;lookfor newton <\/code> command to find help that contains the keyword <em>newton<\/em> is slower than we would like. Jiro has come to our rescue with a new command: <a title=\"https:\/\/www.mathworks.com\/matlabcentral\/fileexchange\/loadFile.do?objectId=9963&amp;objectType=FILE (link no longer works)\">look4<\/a> .Once the original database is built, this is a very fast command with results that are very similar to what <em>lookfor<\/em> will get you, but in a small fraction of the time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a pick for those among us that are still hardcore &#8220;command line&#8221; only kind of guys.
