I enlisted Becky&#8217;s help in choosing a good Simulink file this week:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This is a <a title=\"https:\/\/www.mathworks.com\/matlabcentral\/fileexchange\/loadFile.do?objectId=11736&#038;objectType=file (link no longer works)\">single block<\/a> that you can drop into any Simulink model you want to generate code for, and it will generate an additional file that describes the inputs, outputs and states of the model.  Simple idea, even simpler implementation \u2013 just drop the block into an existing model and generate the code.  For those large and complex models that have to be integrated with other pieces of code, it makes life easier by doing a lot of the bookkeeping for you.
