I submitted an enhancement request regarding this issue last year and I am happy to see the improvement. In 2016b, all Bus Selectors lit up regardless of whether the traced signal was selected or not. Now, only the bus paths, where the traced signals are selected, show up.

The feature behaves similarly for buses and GoTo/From. For buses, it enters the bus and moving forward brings you to the destination where the original signal is consumed. If multiple destinations, you can toggle like in the second animation above. Same for GoTo/From.

What happens if you reach a “Goto” or a bus creator?
