You didn\u2019t even mention the help for each check!\r\n<\/blockquote><br>\r\n\r\n<p>My apologies go to Salina and the other writers who worked\r\non enhancing the Model Advisor documentation.\u00a0 Let me make it up to you by\r\nshowing the world how to get to the <a\r\nhref=\"https:\/\/www.mathworks.com\/help\/releases\/R2008b\/toolbox\/slvnv\/rn\/brq88iw-1.html#brq88iw-2\">new\r\ncheck specific documentation<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Read the Doc<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In the past, you had to dig around to find information on\r\nspecific checks. \u00a0In R2008b Simulink, it got a lot easier to get to the right\r\nhelp:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.mathworks.com\/images\/seth\/2008Q4\/modelAdvisorHelp.png\" alt=\"R2008b adds check specific help to Model Advisor\"><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>You can now right click on a specific check and select \u201cWhat\u2019s\r\nThis?\u201d from the context menu, or click the help button on that specific check.\u00a0\r\nThe help button used to bring you to generic Model Advisor documentation, which\r\nmost people didn\u2019t find helpful.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The documentation opens in a small window with specific\r\ndetails about the selected check.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.mathworks.com\/images\/seth\/2008Q4\/unconnectedLinesCheckDoc.png\" alt=\"The Model Advisor help opens in a separate documentation window\"><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>This window will include tips, recommendations on what to do\r\nwith the results of the check, and some have explanations on what might cause the\r\ncheck to fail.  The See Also links go to the main help browser and include more detailed information about the check.
