Here are some examples.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Scrolling<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Scope block now has a new <strong>scroll<\/strong> option to control the behavior when the duration of the simulation is longer than the Scope time range. The best way to describe that is to show it:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.mathworks.com\/images\/seth\/2014Q4\/scrolling.gif\" alt=\"Scope Scrolling\" \/><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Signal Viewer and Floating Scope Look and Feel<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In R2014b, the Signal Viewer and Floating Scope interfaces are now identical to the Simulink Scope block. Whether you prefer having a block or not in the model, you can experience the same visualization:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.mathworks.com\/images\/seth\/2014Q4\/scopeVsViewer.png\" alt=\"Viewer New Look\" \/><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>This means that the Viewer line properties, axes and figure colors can now be customized. Here is an example of how I like to configure it:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.mathworks.com\/images\/seth\/2014Q4\/customizeViewer.png\" alt=\"Viewer customization\" \/><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Signal Viewer supports multiple new features<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>For a few releases, the Signal Viewer and Floating Scope have lagged behind with many recent Simulink features. Not anymore! In R2014b, you will notice that the Signal Viewer and Floating Scope now offer features similar to the Scope block and support:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Logging signal in dataset format<\/li>\r\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathworks.com\/help\/simulink\/ug\/simulation-stepper-interface.html\">Simulation Stepping<\/a><\/li>\r\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathworks.com\/help\/simulink\/ug\/get-started-with-fast-restart.html\">Fast Restart<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Now it's your turn<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Do you prefer to use the Scope, Floating Scope, or Viewer?
