Curiosity Lands

All the geeks know that Curiosity has landed on Mars. I am not sure of the extent of the use of MATLAB/Simulink on this particular project, but I know that JPL is a “major user” of MATLAB. I got to see the rover testing lab before the last two made their successful trip. I like to think that some engineer at JPL watched this blog and used something they learned to get the rover to Mars. If you are that engineer, please e-mail me, I have a MATLAB t-shirt for you!

The incredibly successful landing of Curiosity reminded me of this ad we ran to celebrate the role of MATLAB and Simulink in landing the last pair of Mars Rovers:
