Celebrating Excellence: Recognizing MathWorks Top Accelerator Partners, India

Accelerators and incubators play a pivotal role in fostering the startup ecosystem by providing the resources, mentorship, and networks that startups need to thrive. These platforms catalyse innovation, helping startups navigate the complexities of early-stage development and scale their operations. Partnerships with organizations like MathWorks further enhance this ecosystem by equipping startups with industry standard tools and technical expertise, enabling them to research projects, develop prototypes, and to take ideas from concept to production. 

In 2024, MathWorks had the privilege of recognizing three exceptional accelerator partners for their collaboration and contributions to the success of our Accelerator Program in the previous year. The recognized partners demonstrated exceptional collaboration and engagement with MathWorks, impacting the highest number of startups benefiting from MathWorks offerings. Awards were presented in the categories of Global and Regional Excellence. 

 

Wadhwani Foundation: Global Excellence Partner 

Wadhwani Foundation is a high-growth, not-for-profit tech organization dedicated to social good. Their mission is to accelerate job growth and enable millions to earn a family-sustaining wage. Since its inception in 2001, the foundation has positively impacted lives across Asia, Africa, and Latin America through its initiatives in Entrepreneurship, Skilling, Innovation & Research, and Government Digital Transformation. As our Global Excellence Partner, Wadhwani Foundation facilitated 16 startups in accessing MathWorks benefits in 2023—the most globally.

Electropreneur Park, Bhubaneswar – AIC STPI next Initiatives: Regional Excellence Partner 

Electropreneur Park Bhubaneshwar, a Centre of Excellence in the Electronics System Design & Manufacturing space, aspires to contribute to India’s ESDM growth story. With a vision of ‘Design in India’ and ‘Make in India’, this centre aims to create products and intellectual property in electronic system design and manufacturing. Recognized as a Regional Excellence Partner, Electropreneur Park supported eight startups in accessing MathWorks benefits, the second most in India.

Nexus Innovation Hub: Regional Excellence Partner 

Nexus Innovation Hub, the startup hub of the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, showcases the best of American and Indian entrepreneurship and innovation. Located in downtown New Delhi, Nexus serves as a central hub for entrepreneurs, innovators, and industry players to collaborate and promote the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. As a Regional Excellence Partner, Nexus facilitated seven startups in accessing MathWorks benefits, the third most in India.

Acknowledging Our Partners’ Impact 

These partners have not only enabled startups to leverage MathWorks tools for their development, but have also engaged in various activities, such as in-person and virtual technical sessions and actively shared MathWorks benefits with new startups to enhance their capabilities. The startups, spanning industries like Aerospace, Defence, Automotive and Industrial Automation, have greatly benefited from these collaborations.
