With 2025 well underway, we are taking a moment to reflect on the milestones of MathWorks startup program in 2024.

Here’s a look by the numbers:

• In 2024, we worked with over 900 new startups, ranging from idea stage to profitable business
• Startups in our program are based around the world, representing over 50 countries
• MathWorks engineers spent 1000s of hours providing guidance and support to startups
• The startup team hosted and attended over 100 events around the world
• Through the accelerator program, more than 300 startups were granted free software to accelerate their development
• These startups came from 150 of our accelerator partner programs

Wow! What a year 2024 was. We would be remiss if we didn’t give sincere recognition to you – the startups, entrepreneurs, and partners who continue to let us join you on your journey. The technology you are developing is transforming the world as we know it by bringing needed healthcare to underserved populations, creating better energy sources to combat the effects of climate change, and propelling us to spaces beyond where we could have imagined. And with that wrapped, we’re looking ahead to 2025. We can’t wait to see what’s next to be built with MATLAB and Simulink.
