Enhanced data exploration interface

Paul Mennen's plt combines a lot of useful data exploration tools into a single, well-designed, plot explorer. Intended to be used instead of PLOT, PLT displays your 2-D data in an enhanced figure window. You have immediate access to cursors for finding peaks and taking differential measurements, dual y-axes, advanced zoom, and panning. I really love how Paul implemented pan and zoom: left-click and drag to pan, right-click and drag to stretch/compress the axes. This allows you to very quickly navigate to the region of interest in your data. I encourage you to try out PLT and see if it changes the way you explore your data in MATLAB. If this really inspires you, please submit any enhancements you'd like to see us put into future versions of MATLAB. plt2.png
