Animation of convolution
Convolution can be a difficult process to learn and visualize, so Laine decide to make an animation to show the process occuring. This file makes it much easier to understand the process. I chose this entry because it is something I would have liked when I was learning convolution in college. I also like it because the code is well documented and works easily. Flexibility was also left in the code to change the convolving functions.
This demonstration was written before the newest version of MATLAB 7 was available. If this were to be written today, I would recommend the use of anonymous functions, to define the convolving functions, but you can't use new MATLAB functionality until we release it (unless you are a beta user)!
