Smooth animations in MATLAB
This is a great animated clock made in MATLAB, and I chose it for several reasons:
1) Tim made use of some new R14 language features like nested functions; this makes argument passing easier to do among sub-functions.
2) The code is well commented.
3) I plan to modify this as a countdown timer for use before seminars.
4) One of the rites of passage into my group at The MathWorks is to write an interesting clock in MATLAB to show off your MATLAB skills. This one is better than most that have been written by new hires.
Speaking of new hires, the MathWorks is hiring. If you submit some truly impressive code to the File Exchange and send me an e-mail with your resume, I will walk it over to Human Resources myself!
