Making a splash

 People have been making full-fledged applications in MATLAB for quite a while, and that is becoming even easier because the MATLAB compiler now works for the entire MATLAB language. A big application just crys out for a splash screen to give it that little bit of polish. So find your favorite picture and call this little function to use it as a splash screen whenever you start your application.
