Quick directory navigation
OK, I'm breaking the number one rule that Doug and I set up for our submissions - I'm picking my own file. Hey, it's my forum, so I guess I can do what I want!
I have been using a couple of really small directory utilities I wrote so much that I wanted to see if others would find them useful. Based on the number of downloads, the answer is a resounding NO, but I don't like that answer ...
Quick Folder Navigation provides GOTO and GOBACK which make very quick work of changing directories to locations of interest on your path. GOTO FILENAME changes the current directory to the one containing FILENAME. GOBACK goes back. I use these utilities for a bunch of different reasons, like getting to a directory when I want to do something from there in Windows (like e-mail a file) or looking for other related files. Please e-mail me and let me know if you find these useful, or if I am just adding to the noise of the File Exchange.
