Handle Classes – Live Editor Challenge Winner (Student Category)
Jiro‘s pick this week is Building a Forest of Trees in MATLAB by Ameer Hamza.
Today, I’d like to highlight the winner of the Student Category of the MATLAB Online Live Editor Challenge 2018.
In the challege, students and faculty competed by showcasing the Live Editor with MATLAB Online on engaging topics. Here, Ameer demonstrated the concept of handle classes using an interesting example of constructing a forest of trees. Ameer starts off with a very simple example that describes the basics of handle classes, shows a practical example of linked lists, and then finally extends the concept to the forest example.
In addition to the well-structured storyline, I liked how Ameer included a number of interactive sections where I could change parameters via sliders within the live script.
Give it a try and let us know what you think here or leave a comment for Ameer.
