Observing the Earth

This week is a big World Wide training week at The MathWorks. I was looking for some way to visualize the globe in MATLAB. Of course, I looked to the File Exchange to see what we could do. Our very own Rob Comer here at the MathWorks had added this code for visualizing our planet. Not only does this look at some great data, but it shows data from the HDF family. Sing along with me: “It’s a small world after all…”

See you next week with some more video content.

Wrap code fragments inside <pre> tags, like this:

<pre class="code">
a = magic(3);
sum(a)
</pre>

If you have a "<" character in your code, either follow it with a space or replace it with "&lt;" (including the semicolon).
