UI Signal Builder

Jiro's pick this week is UISIGNALBUILDER by Laurent Vaylet.

My voice was heard! At the end of last week's post, I mentioned that I wanted to create a general purpose data generation tool, and I (subtly) challenged others to post one before I did. I never got to it, but within a few days, Laurent posted his UISIGNALBUILDER.

It has several nice features, such as abilities to "snap-to-grid", add and remove control points, specify x-y coordinates, and save to MATLAB variables.

It's also great to see people getting inspired by other submissions and expanding on them. In addition, Laurent heavily used another submission, GridBagLayout, which was another Pick of the Week highlight.

Great file and nice use of the File Exchange, Laurent!

Wrap code fragments inside <pre> tags, like this:

<pre class="code">
a = magic(3);
sum(a)
</pre>

If you have a "<" character in your code, either follow it with a space or replace it with "&lt;" (including the semicolon).
