Sometimes old technology becomes new again. The other day someone was showing me their Blackberry device that has a low overhead mail reader, very similar to PINE which I used until very recently when I switched to Outlook. I just had my groceries delivered last night, which is not really that new of an idea since my grandfather used to deliver milk to people's homes (though he did it by horse and buggy).
Hatched Fill Patterns Plus by Brian Katz goes back to tried and true technology by making hatched patterns instead of color, because people still primarily use black and white printers, not color ones. I like this entry because I have had many customers ask me for just this type of thing. I also like it because it shows the collaborative nature of the File Exchange. This entry acknowledges the code of our very own MathWorks developer, Ben Hinkle.
