Have you ever sat around asking yourself if it would be possible to draw flags of the world's nations just using the patch command? And then realized that this means you could easily embed flags in your Simulink model? Well, you are not alone! Mike Woodward apparently asked (and answered) that very same question. You've got to check out Mike's Flags. This is really quite amazing - Mike has done a tremendous job of representing over 80 different flags. Since Mike is a Simulink guy, he did everything as system masks for Simulink blocks. His patch commands work just as well in MATLAB, enabling you to add flags to your MATLAB figures (just copy them from the Mask Editor in Simulink).
