Coaching call to debug GUI

This video is a departure from my other videos. This video captures a coaching call between Edgar and me as we debug a GUI that Edgar had created. This video was completely unscripted and has only been lightly edited, so it is longer than my normal videos. This shows how an expert MATLAB programmer thinks and explains the debugging of a MATLAB GUI. This video covers getting and setting of popup menus values, deals with the perils of not closing a file after FOPEN is called. This video will not likely cover the exact problems you have to deal with, but should be useful for seeing the process of debugging.

    Extremely useful video. Sometimes it seems that debugging is an underrated skill. Programming is never done in the first instance! So debugging is critical. Thanks for the inside look on how you debug

Wrap code fragments inside <pre> tags, like this:

<pre class="code">
a = magic(3);
sum(a)
</pre>

If you have a "<" character in your code, either follow it with a space or replace it with "&lt;" (including the semicolon).
